Montana Preservation Alliance – Road Shows

Using MHF funding, the Montana Preservation Alliance conducted community workshops in the communities of Dillon, Roundup and Sun River Valley to help advance the preservation of and increase access to local history. The workshops included preparing sites for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places, conducting oral history interviews, exploring the use of historic buildings, creating a digital repository for the communities, training volunteers in digitization and uploading records to the Montana Memory Project.
