Fergus County – Draft Horse Barn Fan Window

The 28-stall draft horse barn, built in 1917, was part of a complex of buildings that was home to the budding livestock auction business. The barn was used to house draft horses during events held at the Fergus County Fairgrounds, including activities associated with the early days of the central Montana livestock auction industry.

Fergus County used MHF funds to restore the original fan window as part of the restoration of the draft horse barn.
