Daniels County Museum – Archival Supplies

Proper organization and storage of archival records is paramount to create a searchable environment for historic documents. At the Daniels County Museum bundles of newspapers sat on the floor collecting dust and stacks of maps lacked proper storage.

With MHF funds, the Daniels County Museum purchased archival-grade storage boxes and steel map drawers to properly store its documents and maps. This was an important step in creating a user-friendly system for community members hoping to learn about their family’s history.
