Cottonwood School

Cottonwood Schoolhouse, built in 1895, served as a school and meeting place over the years, and many of the Lewistown residents attended the school. The school is a reminder of the history in the region and played an important role in the development of the community. With MHF funds the building and trim were repaired and repainted, lights were installed for the flag, and the fence and two outhouses were repaired.
