PEDALING THROUGH THE PAST
120 MIN TOUR | PUB TROLLEY TOUR | DIFFICULTY: EASY (NON-PEDALING SEATS AVAILABLE)
Cover more ground while enjoying a guided ride through Helena’s historic neighborhoods aboard Bert & Ernie’s Pub Trolley. This easy going tour pedals past the stately homes of the Mansion District, the Cathedral of Saint Helena, and other hidden historical gems, with built‑in stops for photos and stories.
Pedaling is optional, drinks are welcome, and the ride is relaxed and fun.

Step back into Helena’s raucous early years, when a lucky gold strike transformed this remote spot into one of the wealthiest boomtowns in the West. Wander through historic downtown and imagine a place where the beer flowed freely, red-light districts thrived, and fortunes were made in more ways than one. Along the way, meet the prospecting miners, entrepreneurial business owners, and savvy madams who built this town.

WALKING HISTORIC DOWNTOWN
60 MIN TOUR | 1.5 MILE WALKING TOUR | DIFFICULTY: MODERATE (INCLINE)
Learn how Helena became the “Queen City of the Rockies” on this walking tour of historic Last Chance Gulch. Stroll down Helena’s original main street to see how a rowdy gold camp transformed into a capital city. Along our route, admire the ornate buildings flaunting gold rush fortunes and boomtown swagger. Discover how Helena grew from log cabins and wooden shacks into a city built not just of brick and stone, but of ambition, wealth…and some deceit too.

This tour only runs in September and October.
Hear the stories behind the hauntings that occupy historic sites and sounds from around Last Chance Gulch. Stops include the Myrna Loy Theater, the Cathedral of Saint Helena, Grand Street Theater, Reeder’s Alley, and plenty more.
