The historic Tenth Street Bridge is an integral part of the development of Great Falls' unique Missouri River waterfront and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The architecturally significant Tenth Street Bridge is undergoing a major multi-phase restoration and repurposing. Preservation Cascade used MHF funds to install waterproof electrical boxes onto the deck of the bridge. This provided power for lighting without the need to bring in generators. The electrical boxes enabled a public address system, outlets for vendors and lighting for the bridge during events at night.
The photogenic bridge attracts people both day and night. The repurposing of this historic bridge will encourage local groups and organizations to hold activities that will be of interest to both residents and tourists.
