Nine Mile Community Center - Historic Stark School Outhouse Preservation

Frenchtown, $7,185 Grant: Community Center will preserve the two distinct outhouses located on the rural school grounds. Interpretive signage will also be included to help visitors and school groups understand what it would have been like for students in 1915. Preservation of these structures is vital to maintain the remaining integrity of the grounds, enhancing the historic context of this 110 year-old school property.
