Beaverhead County Museum – Scanner Project

The Beaverhead Museum needed a new, state-of-the-art photograph scanner to digitize its historic photograph collections so visitors can continue to access these photographs A single photograph used to take hours to scan, tag, save, and upload to online archives.

The museum used MHF funds to purchase the new scanner. The Beaverhead Museum can now digitize and archive its remaining 43,000 historic negatives before they are lost to deterioration.
