H. Earl Clack Museum Foundation, “Museum Storage and Artifact ProtectionHavre, $11,475 Grant: The H. Earl Clack Museum Foundation will purchase storage shelves, boxes, and materials to help rehouse their collection. This ties in with a larger effort to document and preserve their collection. Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, “Securing, Documenting, and Protecting the Art Collection”, Great Falls $7,500 Grant: Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art will use grant funds to improve the care of its art collection with continued cataloguing and storage. This project protects artworks, reduces risk, and expands public access through a new online portal. Learn more about the organization at https://www.the-square.org/


Fort Benton Community Improvement Association, “Restoration of the I. G. Baker House”, Fort Benton, $14,728 Grant: Built in 1867, the I.G. Baker House is one of Montana’s oldest adobe homes. This project stabilizes key historic elements, restores the south wall and window, and preserves a landmark central to Fort Benton’s heritage and museum network. City of Shelby, “Roxy Theater Repair,” Shelby, $10,000 Grant: The city of Shelby will use funding to help repair and restore the historic Roxy Theater. The space will eventually become a community venue.

Great Falls Historic Preservation Office, “Great Falls Park & Trail Interpretive Signs”, Great Falls, $5,059 Grant: This project will share local history in places where residents and visitors already gather in green spaces. The project will create and install engaging interpretive panels that highlight little-known stories, from Jack Dempsey's training grounds to Paris Gibson's experimental tree farm. The Conrad Public Library, “Tuckpointing of Historic Brick Façade,” Conrad, $10,000 Grant: The Conrad Public Library will hire a contractor to tuckpoint and preserve the brick façade of the historic building. Learn more about the organization at https://www.conradlibrary.com/.
