The Montana Appraisal Fair is a chance for you to bring your fine art, collectibles, toys, heirlooms, and other interesting/valuable items for an appraisal from celebrity appraisers.

The 2026 Montana Appraisal Fair will be in Billings at the Yellowstone Art Museum on Friday May, 8th 2026.

Appraiser Timothy Gordon Specialities Include:

  • Any and all interesting and potentially valuable objects!

Auctioneer Grant Zahajko Specialties Include:

  • Sports Cards

  • Comic Books

  • Toys & Collectibles

  • Any and all interesting and potentially valuable objects!

RUNDOWN OF APPRAISAL FAIR

  • Enter the host venue with your item(s) approximately 5-10 minutes before your time slot.

  • If you have a larger item, please go to the check in table first and staff or volunteers may assist you entering the building.

  • Check in at the table near the front entrance to get a program and your time slot.

  • Wait for your number to be called. Consider checking out the museum as you wait and after your appraisal.

  • Expect to spend anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour with us.

CHECKING IN

  • Staff or a volunteer will call your number and guide you to the table of either Appraiser Timothy Gordon or Auctioneer Grant Zahajko with your item(s)

  • Enjoy learning more about your item(s). Your appraiser may ask to make a brief announcement of your item.

  • Once finished, consider allowing staff or volunteers to photograph your treasure!
